It's interesting to see how things change, and how they remain the same...I did this list of top ten LINES (not figures, that's just too damn hard!) back in 2000:

If I were to pick today:
G.I. Joe (sixth scale of course), Marx Best of the West, BTAS, Mego, Star Wars, and Super Powers would all still be in there. I'd drop the general Spawn line for the Movie Maniacs theme. And new entries would be Simpsons, Muppets and Sideshow's Universal Monsters.

Hmm... I don't know if I could put them in any kind of order... but I'm sure that the main ones that come to mind could be listed as my favorites.

The first one is such a stand out, that it's easy to pick....
    mandarin3

12" Mandarin Spawn - I love all of the Mandarins, but size and color scheme makes this one my fave.

Silver Pharoid Micronaut - While I started with GI Joes and Megos, the Micronaut line with it's interchageability and excellent designs are still tops in my book (and fore-runners to the excellent MICROMAN lines that Takara makes now.)

Marvel Legends Trenchcoat Thing - This figure blurs the line between the Mego heros of my childhood and the finely sculpted figures of today. The articulation is far less invasive than most of the Marvel legends, but the head sculpt, and hat are right out of the first Thing comic I ever read. (I wasn't a fan of the FF, but the first comic I ever read of the Thing had him sculking down an alley in his trenchcoat, only to be attacked by some kind of Lizard man who was watching him from the fire escape above.)

Jimi Hendrix Woodstock Set - Once I get the Montery Pop Hendrix, I may like that one better... but the big STAGE is just as important for the proper Hendrix display. I'm kicking myself for never getting a Metallica or Kiss stage so I could properly display my music figures.

Sub Zero Monev - I wasn't as nutso over the Monevs as Jor was, even after being impressed by the articulation.... but once I saw the Clear one with the glowing endo-skeleton inside, I was hooked. Mine has since been modified with hands and feet from Creech 2, which pushes it over the top for me. I loved the Creech sculpts, but the Monev articulation works too well to be ignored.

Violator 3 - The Violator is actually what got me into Spawn in the first place. Issue 3 where he fights Spawn... just so abstract looking, but cool all at the same time. This sculpt was the pinnacle of that creature's design. None of the other hell-creatures have looked so cool (and hidden articulation gets major points. I love the rubber that covers the jaw and other hinges.)

Redeemer 2 - Especially after I modified this wonderful sculpt to "take flight", I can't help but still be in awe of the detail in each wing feather and the beautifully styled (but not over-done) armor. Wonderful blend of hero, myth, and art.

The remainder of my list would be various Spawn and Hellspawns.... but for me the line is blurred where one ends and another begins. Take for instance I have Series 24 wall spawn crouched on the Image anniversary cross with the flying spawn cape and throne spawn cowl. It's almost like a giant Spawn-Lego set for me.
